ST SUV FAQ’s

  • Eligibility to attend ST SUV Experience:

    Anyone who purchased and took delivery of a qualifying 2023/2024 ST. Eligible participants will have one calendar year from the date of delivery to register for and attend an ST SUV Experience.
     
    Vehicle ownership is verified by VIN. Only one owner/eligible participant per vehicle (VIN) is eligible to attend.
      Eligible participants (“immediate family”) who can attend an ST SUV Experience in place of the buyer:

    • Spouse's parents
    • Grandparents
    • Spouse's grandparents
    • Sons and daughters (including in-laws and step-children)

    The ST SUV Experience is set in the scenic towns of Park City, Utah, and Asheville, North Carolina.
     
    Salt Lake City International Airport is a 35-minute drive to/from the hotel.
    Directions to Hyatt Centric Park City - 3551 North Escala Court Park City, UT 84098:
    • Exit airport using I-80 E ramp toward City Center/Ogden/Provo
    • Take Exit 121 to merge onto I-15 S/I-80 E toward Las Vegas/Cheyenne
    • Take Exit 304E for I-80 E toward Cheyenne
    • Take Exit 145 for Kimball Junction (UT-224 S)
    • Turn right on Canyons Resort Dr.
    • At the traffic circle, take 2nd exit and stay on Canyons Resort Dr.
    • Turn right onto High Mountain Rd
    • Turn left onto Escala Court

    Asheville Regional Airport is a 30-minute drive to/from the hotel.
    Directions to Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate – 1 Lodge St. Asheville, NC 28803:
    • Exit airport using I-26 W/US-74 W from Terminal Dr. and Airport Rd towards Asheville
    • Take exit 31A for Interstate 40 E toward Hickory
    • Take exit 50 for US-25 toward S Asheville
    • Turn left onto US-25 N/Hendersonville Rd.
    • Stay in the left lane and follow signs to the Biltmore entrance.
    Yes – you are eligible to bring ONE guest to both the dinner reception and program day.

    Eligible guests will be able to participate in all program activities with the exception of the Skid Car exercise.
    Yes – the Park City and Asheville areas are very family-friendly.
      (Please keep in mind that only one guest is eligible to attend the dinner reception and program day. Additionally, any lodging needs beyond the standard room provided with the program for the one night will be at the participant’s expense.)
     

    Park City

    Both the Canyons Village (where the hotel is located) and Park City offer a wide array of restaurants, shops, bars, and hiking trails.

    Yes – Driving participants must be at least 16 years old and possess a current, valid driver’s license.
     
    Guests must be at least 14 years of age, or at 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license to participate in any driving activity.
     
    Any driver under the age of 18 will need to have a parental consent form signed onsite.
     
    All drivers must have their driver’s license on their person during the program.
    No– we provide all program vehicles.
    No – just you and your guest (if applicable) will be assigned to your vehicle for the day.
    Yes – the Hyatt Centric Park City and Village Hotel on Biltmore Estate® are the host hotel and a complimentary, one-night stay is included with the program.

    If you are checking out on the program day, the hotel offers a luggage check to hold your luggage until you are finished for the day.
    No– it is the participant’s responsibility to secure transportation during their stay. We recommend you elect to rent a vehicle, or use rideshare Uber/Lyft services; which are readily available to/from the hotel and in the local area. However, the Biltmore Estate itself is quite large, and ground transportation is not readily available on the Estate grounds. Besides the hotel shuttle to/from Park City’s Main Street, there is a well-organized bus system in the Park City area.
    ST SUV Experience begins with an evening Reception dinner. The Reception takes place the evening before your driving experience.
     
    Park City reception dinner from 6:00 – 7:00 pm, MST, (check-in 5:30-6:00 pm MT) at the Hyatt Centric Park City.
     
    Asheville reception dinner from 6:00 – 7:00 pm, EST, (check-in 5:30-6:00 pm ET) at Deerpark on Biltmore Estate.®

    Check with the front desk for directions to the meeting room being used for the welcome dinner reception.
    In Park City, program day check-in will be at or near the hotel lobby. In Asheville, program check in will be at the large white tent in Parking Lot “D”, approximately 2.5 miles from the Village Hotel. Transportation from the Village Hotel to Lot “D” is not provided.

    Yes - Although we encourage all participants to attend the reception, it is not required. We just ask that you inform us in advance if you choose not to attend the reception.
     
    You will receive a series of email communications leading up to your program that will provide the opportunity to inform the program coordinator.
    Comfortable, seasonal-appropriate layering attire is recommended.
     
    No open-toed or open-heel shoes are allowed during the program day. We recommend you wear soft-soled shoes, such as driving or athletic shoes. You may also want to bring a hat and sunglasses.

    Cancellation:

    Cancellation requests received more than 31 days prior to your event will be eligible to reschedule a future program per the rescheduling policy. Cancellations under 31 days will result in forfeiture of eligibility to attend future ST SUV Experience programs.
     

    Rescheduling:

    Reschedule requests received more than 31 days prior to your event will receive a one-time credit toward attendance at a future ST SUV Experience as long as the date falls within 12 months of the ST delivery date. A $150 rescheduling fee will be charged.
     
    No credit toward a future program will be offered if a cancellation or request to reschedule occurs less than 31 days prior to your event. Failure to appear will result in forfeiture of all event fees and the ability to attend future ST SUV Experience programs.

    Cancellation and reschedule requests must be made by calling Sales Coordinators, Dominique Goodsell at 435-775-2205, Monday to Friday, 8 am-5 pm MST, for Park City Programs, and Russ Perkins at 980-296-3305, 8 am-5 pm EST, for Asheville Programs.

    Weather Policy:

    The Ford Performance Racing School is an all-weather operation. If extreme weather conditions prevent FPRS from safely executing the Event, every effort will be made to reschedule the Event. FPRS reserves the sole right in determining whether an Event will be canceled due to dangerous weather conditions. In such a case, FPRS will retain and apply the Client's funds to the rescheduled Event. If the event is canceled due to weather and a mutually-agreeable date cannot be determined, FPRS will provide a refund of any program upgrades (expenses related to travel and lodging not eligible).
    By registering for schools and driving experiences you agree to receive email and print communications from the Ford Performance Racing School (The McKeever Group, Inc.) both related to this registration and related to future sales, marketing, and informational communications. All correspondence, schools, and courses will be communicated in the English language. You also agree to the Legal/Privacy policy.
    Yes – feel free to use an action camera (GoPro, etc.). If mounting on the vehicle, a suction cup-type mount must be used.
    ADHESIVE MOUNTS ARE PROHIBITED.
    No – helmets are not needed for this program.
    Our classes run Monday – Friday during the year's warmer months, generally from March to November (Asheville) and May to October (Park City). New class dates will be released as classes fill up.
